"La Tardanza" ("The Tardy Girl"). When a child's teacher comes to the door, a parent will often think the worst. In this case, a mother's fears are laid to rest when her daughter's teacher visits with some good news.

"La Nina Differente" ("The Different Girl"). A daughter asks her mother what AIDS is and gets a lesson in accepting people who are HIV positive. This inspires her to invite an HIV positive friend to her birthday party.

"La Bendicion" ("The Blessing"). Choosing to leave a gang is a difficult decision to make, but with the support of a loving grandmother, it can be a lot easier.
